Chopping wood with an axe. Some distant traffic is noticeable occasionally. Recorded in stereo 24 bit 96 khz with the internal mics on a sony m10 with windjammer. About 1 meter away from the logs being chopped. Please use this sound for whatever you want, completely free, no restrictions. Although i really appreciate a comment if you use my sound for something interesting. Always fun to hear where my recordings end up :).

Searched everywhere for this sound and was astonished not to find it. Very basic slap of the bare palm over the opening of an empty glass bottle, while holding the bottle in the other hand. I don't have good equipment or environment, but i figured you all could use it anyway if there's nothing else out there. If i overlooked one feel free to link me in the comments. A part of my samplepack called "metal collisions 1". - recorded with my huawei smartphone (cannot remember what model). - recorded inside a barn, with concrete flooring. I was movingsome scrap metal out of the building and decided to record these piecesof scrap while i were at it. - completely free! feel free to credit me ifyou use them though, even though that's completely optional on your part.

Played with shaping low-frequency noise and speeding it up, made a nice, usable cymbal. Here it is without compression/increased speed.

Try as a loop! i used my acoustic guitar and did some knuckle-knocking on the body while muting strings. Sounds like a native drum! effect: speed increase from 33 1/3 rpm to 45 rpm, moise reduction and vol. Envelope. Recorded on conexant smart audio with at2020 mic, processed on audacity.

My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.

Concrete foley performed with hands. Part of my ‘various hits’ pack - foley on concrete, metal pipes, and plastic surfaced objects in a 10 story stairwell. Recorded on iphone. Added fades, eq’s and compression for easy integration.

I initially created this snare using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) and a single instance of the zynaddsubfx plugin. There were many effects and experiments done before exporting as an audio stem. Next i opened this stem ( single snare hit ) in bitwig studio and made a few copies of it and timestretched and chopped and then joined together in a group track the parts i liked to make the whole sound. Final effects included saturation, equalization , sidechain-limiting and compression.

A hollow sounding explosion, could be used for a metallic hit or slightly muted bang.

Voice samples for video games i made for a tigsource game competition using audacity. They're made to be chopped up and as flexible as possible for a video game. This one is of a male hero type character. The sample includes no words, just vocalizations like grunts, eating sounds, and hit sounds.

Recording of a simple frame drum i had lying around. Captured using a rode nt5 microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Edited in cubase 6. 5. Some of the samples turned out pretty noisy, sorry for that. :/.
